What Nextding is
Nextding is a World of Warcraft leveling guide. You pick a character and the site builds a guide for it. There are no accounts, no sign-in and no way to give the site your name or email address.
What the site stores on your device
The checklist at the end of each guide remembers which boxes you ticked. Those ticks are kept in your browser's local storage, on your device only, under a key made of the game version, class and spec. They are never sent to Nextding or to anyone else, and clearing your browser's site data removes them. Nothing else on the site stores anything about you.
Server logs
Like every web server, the server that hosts Nextding records each request (the page asked for, the time, the IP address it came from, and the browser's user agent) in logs used to keep the site running and to spot abuse. Logs are kept for a short time and are not used to build a profile of you.
Advertising
Nextding shows no advertising at the moment. If that changes, this page will say how it works and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Links to other sites
Item and spell links point to Wowhead, and hovering them loads a tooltip script from Wowhead's servers, which may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. The "Suggest a change" links open a form hosted by Tally; what you type there is covered by Tally's privacy policy, and the form carries only the character and page you were looking at, never anything about you.
Contact
Nextding is operated by Solvere Ventures LLC. Questions about this page go through the "Request content" link in the header of any guide, or to the address on the site's About page when one exists.
